Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club is a professional association football club which is currently playing in Premier League. Its home ground is Falmer Stadium (also known as American Express Community Stadium or The Amex for sponsorship reasons) in Falmer, Brighton and Hove, East Sussex, England. Their nicknames are The Seagulls and Albion. They have mostly competed in lower tiers of the English football. Brighton had a good run between 1979 and 1983, when they played in First Division and made the 1983 FA Cup Final which they lost to Manchester United. Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. were runners-up in 2016–17 season of the EFL Championship, earning promotion to the top flight. They finished 15th 2017–18 season of Premier League. Their current manager Chris Hughton has instrumental role in recent progress. Brighton are looking for a strong showing in current edition of Premier League.
