The Argentina national Rugby Union team represents Argentina in international men's competitions. Nicknamed as Los Pumas, they are managed by Argentine Rugby Union. Their largest victory was in 2002 when they won by 152-0 from Paraguay. Argentina are judged as the strongest team in Americas. It is ranked 9th in the current World Rugby rankings. It is one of the international teams which have participated in all Rugby World Cup editions. Argentina qualified for Quarter Finals of the 1999 and 2011 editions of Rugby World Cup. While it made to the Semi Finals in 2007 and 2015 editions of RWC, eventually earning third place. Newly appointed Argentina captain Agustín Creevy has said that our team has best players and they always try to be at top of the list. The head coach of Argentinean team Mario Ledesma has vowed that Los Pumas have a nice combination of experienced players and young talent. Argentina Rugby team is in form and will hopefully deliver its best performance in the Rugby World Cup 2019.
