Sapporo Dome is a multi-sports venue situated in Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. It mainly holds baseball and association football matches. Its seating capacity is 41,484 seats for football matches. It can accommodate 40,476 fans for baseball games. It can house 41,410 spectators for rugby fixtures. Capacity can be increased to 53,796 with temporary seats. It is home ground of Japanese association football club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo which competes in J1 League. Japanese baseball club Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters also uses it for home games. Sapporo Dome will play host to several matches of Rugby World Cup 2019. It will also serve as venue for 2020 Summer Olympics (Tokyo 2022).
